Billy Harris

Billy Harris is a native of Missouri. He is a graduate of Webster University and has more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector. Some might never have expected this life for Billy. He went to prison when he was just 16 after he was involved in a serious crime.

Since his release, Billy has committed his time and energy to building a new life and to working as a Youth Justice Reform Advocate at both the state and national levels to end life without parole and other extreme sentences for children. In May 2018, Billy relocated to Los Angeles with a vision of following his passion for working with justice-involved youth. First attending Wolf Connection as an adult participant with other formerly incarcerated individuals, he experienced the magical connecting aura that this land possesses. A couple of years later, acting as a chaperone with a local group supporting foster youth, Billy found himself back at Wolf Connection and couldn’t help but feel the intentional calling of the wolves. Billy began his tenure at Wolf Connection as a Program Assistant in the summer of 2021. Two years later he was promoted to his current position of Program Coordinator, where he juggles life between acting as a Program Lead and coordinating the logistics that help keep our programs running smoothly.
