In the remote high desert, Wolfee was tragically caught up in a sting operation and drug bust, where he was being traded as a high-content wolfdog for drugs. The officers involved recognized his true, gentle nature and quickly grew attached to him. They worked diligently to ensure his safe transfer to a sanctuary.

Upon arrival, Wolfee seamlessly integrated into our programs, quickly capturing the hearts of the youth who interacted with him. During a veterinary visit, it was discovered that BBs had been lodged in his back end, a grim reminder of his past mistreatment. Despite this history, Wolfee consistently demonstrates acts of love and forgiveness. He is a skilled hunter and brings a balanced and positive presence to the pack.
