Wolf Therapy: A Pack Way of Being for Parent & Teen

Coming of age in the modern world: Wolf teachings to support the human pack.

Join us for a program that honors the teen/parent relationship and explores what the wolves teach us about pack and family dynamics. The program will take place Sunday, July 28th from 3 – 9pm, and is open to any teen/parent or guardian relationship. The minimum requirement is that each member of the relationship is open to connection and respectful communication.

Wolves understand that each individual and each relationship is unique, even if there are common dynamics in families or packs. Hence this program can serve multiple intentions – whether your goal is to have an outing together, better understand one another, honor one or both or your interest in wolves, or create more space in the relationship. Participants are invited to connect with the wolves, practice awareness and curiosity with self and other, seek stillness and silence, and make space for play and joy.

This session is open to teens age 13 – 18, and one parent/guardian/caretaker. Participants will be encouraged to listen from the heart, speak from the heart, and at times, to be in silence with your heart.

The session will be limited to 10 teen/parent pairs. For a portion of the program teens and adults will participate in separate activities, and for a portion of the program, they will come together. The session will involve meeting the wolf pack and learning about the unique roles and journeys of each member, exploring our human roles and journeys, bonding with the wolves by hiking together, practicing curiosity with what the wolves teach about connection and bond, and concluding the evening with a bonfire.

NOTE: Use of drugs or alcohol is not permitted on Wolf Connection property. Smoking restricted to certain areas.

PLEASE NOTE:
The program will begin at 3pm, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and get situated . The hiking portion of the program will be light and we will provide an alternative activity for participants with physical limitations. We welcome those with physical limitations to contact us in advance so we can explore accommodations given our location and terrain.
