Theo arrived with his packmates, Buddy and Mia, in early 2019 at the age of five. The trio had been owned by a man who loved them very much. So much so that he attempted to hide their existence when Animal Control learned about three high-content wolfdogs living in a residential neighborhood in Los Angeles County.
Fearful of their discovery and confiscation, he eventually surrendered them to Wolf Connection, where their safety was ensured. Theo was an open and playful animal who seemed to trot around his habitat with a smile. He happily greeted guests with relaxed ears and soft eyes. Sometimes, at feeding time, he would thank handlers with a softly audible howl. Theo enjoyed his enrichment walks, and we loved watching him grow stronger and healthier each day.
