Embracing the Wild
Pack Services
Wolf Connection’s Pack Services department is made up of a remarkable team of diverse and knowledgeable experts and wolf lovers who care for our large pack of rescued wolves and wolfdogs.
As a team, we develop each animal’s personalized enrichment and exemplary Health and Wellness Programs, which includes supplements, wellness checks, and regular vet visits. Care is implemented seven days a week, around the clock, on our exceptionally-kept, full-contact facilities. Wolf Connection sanctuary is on a 165-acre forever home to our magical and growing pack of wolves. All the wolves are spayed and neutered in line with part of our mission, part of which is to reduce the breeding of wolfdogs while our overall approach lives in honesty, integrity and flexibility, always doing what’s best for the animals.
Every wolf member of our Pack has a story to tell.
-
All of them have been rescued and are victims of a wide variety of situations: from abuse and neglect, to poor ownership or owners going through hardships, to conflict in animal regulations and law. Whatever the case, these magnificent and special beings come to Wolf Connection to find and embody a new purpose and a richer story.
- We honor and empower the special journey of each wolf, while doing the same for every person who steps foot on Wolf Heart Ranch. Our wolves are socialized daily with purposeful training and enrichment that honors their individual paths towards growth and finds their way in the pack. We do the same for our Wolf Connection program participants and people who visit, acknowledging everyone's journey is different and is comprised of sacred timing. Our staff are involved in and overlap across all departments in a way that supports expansion, empowerment, and collaboration.
The connections between humans and wolves we offer are not always physical, yet always heart awakening.
- We allow wolves to thrive and be themselves as much as possible in this particular environment, as they can never be in the wild due to human interference. They have the space to tap into their true ‘wolf’ selves, and it’s nothing short of magic to witness.
- Please take a moment to read their individual stories at our Wolf Pack page and connect with these magical beings. You can help us immensely in our efforts - from wherever you are - by sponsoring a wolf that touches your heart and possibly helping save a new wolf life!
Second Den Buildout.
- Over the last few years, we embarked on a massive project - the buildout of a second, WEST den where we are providing sanctuary currently to more wolves(eventually 30+), in addition to our current pack of 37. This extensive, multi-year project enhances our on-site, nature-based, experiential education program infrastructure.
- This den has numerous turnouts (large roaming areas) for a spectacular ‘wild’ view of wolves roaming without immediate fencing in your view. This creates a wonderful donor/program experience for our visitors and particularly for our wolves - a more natural habitat and sense of roaming free.
Wolf Connection sanctuary is not open to the public. If you would like to experience the magic of interacting with the pack, you can participate in our monthly public events, which can be found on our Events Calendar. We also have a rich volunteer program you can learn more about by applying to volunteer above. If you would like to reach our department, please email packservices@wolfconnection.
