Afsoon Firoozeh

Afsoon has always felt a strong connection to the wild….wild nature, wild animals, and the wild way of being. Inspired by her deep passion for animals and their presence, she has explored how people relate to the natural world and how this connection can bring an undeniable sense of truth and grounding.

Afsoon discovered Wolf Connection through a friend during a time of uncertainty in both her inner and outer world. Volunteering there gave her a rare opportunity to explore the relationship between humans and wolves in a way that was playful, meaningful, and deeply transformative. She later joined the programs team, supporting both the wolves and the people who come to connect with them. Over time, her role evolved into a more creative one, naturally drawn to expressing the wisdom and connection experienced daily at the sanctuary, both from the wolves still with us and those who have passed.

With a background in interior design focused on biophilic principles and sustainability, Afsoon gained insight into how environments affect our well-being. She has worked to help people reconnect with nature through creative projects, community experiences, and hands-on work with animals, believing that caring for ourselves and the Earth go hand in hand.

Her work is fueled by the bonds she shares with the wolves and the moments they experience with people who come to connect, calling back to a time when humans lived in deeper connection with the land and animals.
