Yesenia Macedo-Lopez

Yesenia Macedo-Lopez is a native-Spanish speaker, born in Guerrero, Mexico, and raised in South Central Los Angeles. As a first-generation student, Yesenia graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in Community Studies and Education. Inspired to learn more about other cultures, Yesenia moved and lived in NYC for twelve years. Before joining Wolf Connection, Yesenia developed into a seasoned, effective art and social justice education leader and professional at DreamYard and The Gabriella Foundation, an arts integration social justice organization in the Bronx and a high-quality after-school dance education organization in the Fashion District. Yesenia participated in professional development opportunities such as the PASE/Baruch College Emerging Leaders Program, UCLArts and Healing Social Emotional Arts Learning Program, Columbia Developing Leaders Program, and Racial Equity in the Arts Innovation Lab. As a passionate community administrator, Yesenia aspires to continue her career in education, social-emotional arts learning, and social equity work. Yesenia is excited to uplift and transform her community, spread the Wolf Human magic at the Wolf Connection Sanctuary, and provide life-changing opportunities to the young people of tomorrow.
