Abeona, the mother of Journey, Rome, and Wander, wasn’t part of the initial rescue when we brought Beo and his puppies to safety. At the time, we believed she was going to be rescued by a private owner, which is why we didn’t take her with us. However, about a year and a half later, she joined our pack after having endured her own struggles. With a sweet and gentle nature, she quickly became a beloved member of our family.

Though she had faced hardship, it was clear from the start that Abeona possessed a deep capacity for love and trust. She adapted to her new life with remarkable ease, forming strong bonds with her new packmates and showing unwavering affection for Jax, her current companion.

Now settled into her forever home, Abby’s playful and goofy personality shines through every day. Whether racing through the habitat, curling up for a nap, or sharing her antics, she brings endless joy to the pack. Abby is a beautiful reminder of the healing power of love and safety. Though her journey began with difficulty, today she stands as a shining example of resilience, loyalty, and the transformative beauty of second chances.
