Delilah’s journey to Wolf Connection began when she was surrendered from Southern California, where she was having difficulty getting along with other dogs in her home. Though her past experiences have made her wary, Delilah’s gentle nature shines through as she slowly learns to trust again.

Delilah is sweet-natured but quite cautious and timid around humans. She’s not quick to warm up to new people, preferring to observe from a distance until she feels safe. Despite her fear, there’s a softness in her eyes and a quiet warmth that shows her potential for connection.

Delilah is paired with Rome, who provides her with the security and confidence she needs as she navigates her fears. While she’s still working on building trust, Delilah has been making steady progress in her relationship with the humans at the sanctuary. She enjoys hiking, though she’s still very hesitant around most people. Her cautious nature means she’s often slow to approach, but when she does, it’s a big step toward opening up. Her journey is a reminder of the power of understanding and trust, and we’re excited to see how far this sweet soul will go.
