Koa arrived with her packmate Hoku after both were temporarily housed at a Delaware Zoo. They had been confiscated from a private owner who lacked the proper licensing and was attempting to transport them across state lines. After vetting numerous sanctuaries nationwide, the Zoo determined that we would be the perfect forever home for them.

Koa is sweet, playfully curious, and occasionally shy. She believes everyone is her friend and excels at keeping a watchful eye on all the other wolves in the den. Nothing escapes her notice!
