Volk arrived from Northern California, where he struggled to adjust to farm life and his previous caregiver wasn’t sure how to help him thrive. Since coming to the sanctuary, he has been learning to navigate a safer, structured environment where he can explore and grow at his own pace.

Though initially reserved around new people, Volk’s playful and affectionate personality shines with those he trusts. He enjoys interactive play and engaging with his surroundings, revealing a smart and spirited nature.
